Elementary School Curriculum
At Town and Country Day School we believe that education is the most important thing that we can give our students. For this reason we have put together a professional staff and environment that will help our students grow academically, socially, and physically. The class sizes are smaller at Town and Country which gives our teachers more one on one time with each individual student. Most subjects taught in the classrooms are usually a grade level above as we do provide an advanced education but are going to strive to make sure each and every student understands the lesson being taught. Town And Country Day School also provides many different learning experiences such as spanish lessons, computer class, and one-on-one tutoring. There will also be a minimum of three scholary field trips throughout the school year. We want every student to succeed and give special attention to any students that need more help. Our parents are an important part of our school and are a vital part to the success of our school. We expect all parents to be involved with their child's education, as it is a neccessity for our students to reach their full academic ability.
Preschool Curriculum
In our preschool, a learning program appropriate to a particular developmental stage is offered in each age level. The staff at Town And Country realize that a child's mind is taking in knowledge at a rapid pace. That is the reason that our teachers are fully prepared with lesson plans to engage these young minds on a daily basis. Our staff is also constantly attending teacher workshops so that they can learn fun and innovative ways to teach their students. The class sizes are smaller at Town and Country which gives our teachers more one on one time with each individual child. In our curriculum preschool students will be taught ways to identify colors, shapes, letters, numbers, etc. They will also be learning how to read, count, write, and even type on a computer. We want all of our students at Town And Country to take away a strong educational and social foundation that will assist them for the rest of their lives. As parents ourselves we at Town and Country understand the concern for a good education and strive to prepare our students for the future that lies ahead of them.
